·Kenya is a beautiful place with great mountains, rich soil, beautiful beaches, some of the largest lakes in the world, and beautifully exotic wildlife. Kenya is also one of the most geologically active places on earth. The Great Rift Valley is actually a point of separation between Africa and Asia that has created many volcanoes, adding to the rich soil in central Kenya. The beauty of the landscape and the people is a great reminder that God is creator of all things on earth. As we travel to Kenya, we are entering into a place that God has made—and we are walking with people that God loves.
Reflection and Prayer
Pray a prayer of thanksgiving for your ability to go on this trip. Pray also that you will be able to enjoy God in new and marvelous ways on this trip as you take in new aspects of his creation.
